Restaurant Shiro strives to serve only the highest quality ingredients in a menu designed to show them off.

Each day chef/owner Hideo Yamashiro ("Shiro") personally gets up early in the morning and journeys to the Los Angeles fish market to choose the best possible seafood for his namesake restaurant. Some days he might even make more than one trip, the first to buy samples which he then cooks at the restaurant, and then back to the fish market! 

The menu is based on what he finds so do not expect to find everything we show below! Of course there is more than just seafood.

Excepting some special higher priced dishes, the general price range is $8.50 to $12.75 for appetizers, $27.00 to $30.00 for entrees and $8.00 for desserts. We believe that most "more expensive" restaurants do not give you the quality you will find at Restaurant Shiro.

Our Regular Menu appears every night. On Wednesdays, Shiro is currently also presenting his Bistro Night. See our Events Page for details and sample menu. (Shiro is closed Monday and Tuesday.)
